Hi,I entered 2 instead of 0 in my W-4 form and this caused me to pay more tax for 2023. Can I correct it and get more tax return?

Fill out a new W-4 form with the correct numbers and give it to your employer.  It will not change what you owe this year but will help for next year.

There is no turning back time and changing your W-4 for your 2023 tax return.    Your income tax refund -- or tax due -- for 2023 was based on the amount of tax withheld from your paychecks during tax year 2023.   The amounts on your 2023 W-2 reflect the amount of tax withheld.   The software calculated your 2023 refund/tax due based on those amounts.

You can change your W-4 for tax year 2024 if you want more or less tax withheld going forward.
