If the amount for IRC-125 in box 14 of your form W-2 is 0, then you can delete the entry for IRC-125.

thank you for your response.

its not zero for NY state. it says NY PFL - $333.25 which is what i entered in the subsequent IT 203 line 22 where turbo tax asks me to enter but then it doesn't address it and tells me that "the amount should at a minimum include the New York City flexible benefits program (IRC-25) addback of $333.25

Please clarify what you did.

On your W-2, in box 14, you entered "NY PFL - $333.25", right?

What category did you put it in (for box 14)? "New York IRC 125/Sec 18" either tax exempt or not?

"what i entered in the subsequent IT 203 line 22" - What do you mean, "i entered"? Did you enter this in response to a question in the NY interview? Or did you enter it directly in Forms mode?

"then it doesn't address it" - what does this mean? Where was it supposed to "address" it?

"tells me that "the amount should at a minimum include the New York City flexible benefits program (IRC-25) addback of $333.25" - Are you being told this in the Review or somewhere else?
