Hi, how can I fix this: "The 1099 import service for Fidelity Investments is currently unavailable. Please try your import again on January 30, 2021, at 4:00 PM

I'm always getting the same response when trying to import data directly from Fidelity.

You can't.   The tax software import files have to be specially formatted and may not be available at the same time you can get the Paper/PDF files from Fidelity.

 

You're lucky,  Fidelity told me my PDF forms wouldn't be available until 13 Feb...not sure when the tax import files will be  ready.

 

Fidelity indicated 30 Jan....so try again on 1 Feb....(Never try at the exact time they indicated...who knows what computer foul-ups they have to correct last minute, and you don't want to be a screwed up test case)

Getting this same message all day today (March 19, 2024).  Fidelity says they know about it and are fixing it.  But so far nothing.  Anyone have any insight?
