Help with Self-Employed forms. I worked on a 1099 with my SSN only, don't have an EIN, was not a business

Turbo Tax will walk you through entering information for your Income and Expenses. 

 In the Self-Employed Turbo Tax with a Business tab at the top

  • Go to the Business tab
  • Click Continue > I'll choose what I work on
  • Click Start next to Business Income and Expenses
  • Proceed through the interview to enter your business information, income and expenses.

 In the Self-Employed Turbo Tax with a Federal Taxes tab at the top

  • Go to Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
  • Scroll down to the Self-Employment section
  • Click Start next to Income and Expenses
  • Proceed through the interview to enter your income and expenses.
