Hello, I'm a Service member. Request to know if i can input notes E and T on my tax return? If yes, would it be a YTD from my LES from December 2020 or February 2021?

The notes for Box 14 are:

E - Military TSP Contribution (Tax Exempt).

T - Cost of Living Allowance not included in box 1 or 16 for Civilian Employees who have COLA included for wages in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

If i input these would be the TSP YTD Deductions? and an overall avarage of how much COLA i get?

You can enter the codes E and T, but there is not tax effect- The TSP are already excluded from Box 1 so there is no adjustment necessary- it is for your information only (unless you would qualify for the Saver's Credit). Code T once again, only shows a nontaxable amount that was not included in your income.

These amounts are for information purposes only.
