Hello, I just signed up with DoorDash and learned that I had to fill out a W-9 form for filing taxes. I also learned that since DoorDash is a self-employed business, taxes are not taken out for me. I

Is there anyway for me to have my earnings taken out for taxes immediately after I make income from DoorDash?

No, you cannot have your tax withheld from your DoorDash earnings as if you are an employee.  You are an independent contractor.  They will not withhold tax or Social Security or Medicare.  At tax time you will be paying self-employment tax for those things.  You will need to withhold a substantial part of your earnings for that and save it in an account of your own.  If you do not have a savings account--open one.    You may be able to pay estimated quarterly tax to avoid a big tax bill next year.

You must pay estimated quarterly tax to avoid penalties for not paying estimated taxes.
