Hello, I just finished/fixed issues with my tax forms of last year and wish to electronically file them. Is that possible at this time? I have never actually filed these.

No. Online preparation and e-filing for 2016 is permanently closed.  Your 2016 return(s) have to be printed, signed and mailed.  (You did use 2016 software, right?   You could not use the current online software for a 2016 return)

Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.

I hope you used the 2016 desktop software for this, not TT online (which is only for 2017).
