Hello. I am a student who interned at a company last summer. The company gave me a stipend of $600 and I received a 1099-NEC from them. How do I report this income?

To report the $600 stipend you received on a 1099-NEC, follow these steps:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Navigate to 1099-NEC:
   • Go to 1099-NEC. or use the magnifying glass at top right of screen and search for 1099-NEC and select the Jump to link.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions. When you’re done, we’ll ask you a few questions and help you through entering any expenses you may have so that you can reduce your taxable income.
