Hello. For tax year 2018 I used TurboTax for the first time. I did taxes for a trust. for 2019 the tax prep will be about the same. can i use 2018 as a model for 2019?

Yes, if you used TurboTax Business to prepare your 2018 Form 1041, you can transfer last year's info into 2019 to get started.

TurboTax has a last year import button. If you are using the same computer, TurboTax will search for your 2018 and display side by side with your new one (2019).  You will have a chance to look at what you did in previous year. If you use a different computer, make sure to get the 2018 file and save it on your current PC.
