Health Savings Account (HSA) Earnings - where to find the numbers

Hi, 

 

Wondering where do we find out the numbers HSA earnings? (Using HealthEquity)

 

Enter Your Health Savings Account Earnings:
  • Interest earned from HSA
  • Dividends earned from HSA
  • Net capital gain or loss from HSA

You should receive a statement from HealthEquity or check your HealthEquity.   Any questions regarding the amount of interest, dividends, or capital gain you should contact HealthEquity.

They don't have the information unfortunately. They only have a Year End Statement so interest is there.

 

Not sure about Dividends and "Net capital gain or loss" - Didn't sell any - but have a number for ""Net Investment Gains or (Losses) during 2021" on the Year End Statement

The Net Investment Gains (or Losses) amount on your statement would be the same as Net Capital Gain or Loss.
