I am a Massachusetts resident. I am working for a company in Minnesota and my health insurence is provided from a MN health provider. Since the health insurance is from a different state, I do not receive 1099-HC or anything to fill out MA state tax. I confirmed with my employer that the plan they offered meets MA health insurance requirements. I don’t see an option on Turbotax to mention qualified health insurance provided from different State. I am just not sure how do i fill out the health insurance information for MA State tax filing on turbotax platform. Please advise the details. Thank you.
If you did not receive a 1099-HC, you can find out by reading the details of your plan on the Internet. Since you did not receive a 1099-HC, please enter the information from your insurance card on the screen, Tell us about your private health insurance.

The 2021 minimum creditable standards include all of the following for most plans:
If your plan meets the above qualifications, then you meet Minimum creditable coverage (MCC) and will not be subject to a penalty. As you are going through your state return, mark off that you have met minimum creditable coverage.
Hi, not sure if you are familiar with 1099 HC and MA state tax. 1099 HC is only offered from Massachusetts health insurance providers. Since my health insurance is from a different State, questions about 1099 HC are not applicable so how do i find the information to fill out on the screen manually- “Tell us about your private health insurance “
