Having trouble with my wife's social and or last name. We are recently married and I suspect that it has to do with her changing her last name?

You should use the name on the new SS card ... but if she changed it with in the last month or so then using the old name may work.  Otherwise you will have to wait until the name change has filtered thru the system.
