Having problem with TurboTax updater. Every time the updater tries to run it freezes for about an hour then I get an error message. How can this be corrected?

MAC or Windows?

I don't have a solution for the MAC,

.....but if Windows

1) shut down the TTX software

2) Download and run the Manual Update to see if that works:

Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software (intuit.com)
