The amount on Michigan MI-1040, Schedule 1, line 11 comes from either the federal retirement section (for full-year residents) or from the Michigan pension deduction worksheet (for part-year residents).

Check your 1099-R in TurboTax.

  • Type 1099-r in Search in the upper right
  • Click Jump to 1099-r
  • Click Review next to your pensions on the screen Review your 1099-R info
  • Continue until you reach Where is your distribution from?
  • Is Military pension checked? If so, change it to the appropriate type or chose the last entry Pension/IRA distributions received before retirement age / None of the above

I also had this problem on my  South Carolina taxes, line 11 Military Retirement Deduction Worksheet.  I checked my Federal return and I did not check the Military Pension.  Is there a bug in TurboTax?
