Have 2 w2s for same employer worked in 2 states but 1 for only 2 days made under $600 but they both show same wages in box 16. Do I need corrected W2 for that state?

Hiya - Box 16 should be the same as in Box 1 on both W2s. Basically it is the income you earned in 2019. Hopefully, each W2 identifies a different state. When it comes time to do your state taxes, that's where you should be able to break out the different earnings, etc.

the proper procedure is for the 1st w-2 to show all federal wages and the wages for each  state on a separate lines

alternatives i've seen

one  w-2's shows gross federal wages and 1 state's wages

a second w-2 showing  only the other state's wages

or

one w-2 showing federal and state wages for one state and

a second w-2 showing  federal and state wages for the other state

the second option is a problem with TT since it does allow 1 taxpayer to have 2 w-2's from same employer

only you know what you got paid in total and for each state so check out the numbers.
