Guidance needed on transferring rental property information from last year return

Hi,

I am going to use Turbo tax premier for using my 2022 tax return. I use to go to a CPA and have 2021 tax return in pdf format. I have schedule E from 2021 & Form 4562 from 2021 filing. I need guidance on how to transfer that data in Turbo tax premier.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Andy

forget transferring. only a  limited amount of data would be transferred. even that would need to be checked. in short, it might be better to create the Turbotax return from scratch.

Thanks Mike. I am starting the 2022 return from scratch. However my rental property is rented from year 2012 so I need to enter the depreciating rental asset history from 2021 return into 2022.

I have the same problem.  Turbo tax didn't transfer over.  Called help line she said to call irs.  they has to be a better faster way to get the depreciation from 2021 to 2022.  HELP

Are you able to see the depreciation on the 2021 return? If so, you can manually input the number. @granny79
