Got incorrect 1099-MISC showing income. Then got a corrected 1099-MISC that shows I had $0 income. How do I handle this in Turbotax? Enter both 1099s, corrected one, none?

I received an incorrect 1099-MISC from my employer showing income. Then got a corrected 1099-MISC that shows I had $0 miscellaneous income.  There should be no taxes on any Misc income, but how do I handle this in Turbotax?  Enter both 1099s, just the corrected one, or none of them?

The corrected 1099-MISC replaces and supersedes the original form.

You would only enter the corrected form 1099-MISC. But in your case, as the corrected form shows 0 income, you do not need to enter it on your tax return.

Thanks.  Would it do any harm just to go ahead and include the corrected version showing $0 in income?

If you enter 0 income, the form will not be taken into account. So no need to enter the form.

Ok.  Thanks.  Just so I understand this process here, do you work for TurboTax (Intuit)?
