Getting Tax-Exempt Pension should not be entered directly on Form 1 for State Electronic Filing when Massachusetts State is reviewed?

Have reentered my 1099-R, read many prior questions/answers and can not seem to get around this. Any ideas? Massachusetts Teachers Retirement System is not taxed.
