Geeting error message, while downloading state: Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag

Hello,

While downloading states package during return preparation, it shows the message "Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag". I cant add the states to the card for payment?

Please help, I am stuck.

Thanks.

Try disabling your main internet browsers pop up blocker before getting to the payment page.

Just tried that, still the same. Didn't help. Any other thoughts? Thanks

Still couldn't resolve this state download problem. Please help. Talked to the customer service rep for 2 hours and she was clueless.

Thanks

This happens from time to time.  Try clearing your browser's cache and deleting your cookies, then try picking up where you left off.

See the TurboTax Help articles How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for guidance.

If this doesn't help, see the TurboTax Help articles State install/e-file update loop: State not installed after installation or TurboTax needs to update prior to e-file and Why am I stuck in a loop in the File section of my return? for guidance.

sorry, didn't solve the problem. The State cleanup executable is for 2022.

Have you tried the tool provided here: State install/e-file update loop: State not installed after installation or TurboTax needs to update prior to e-file? It may work on the Mac.

Otherwise, this article may be helpful: Troubleshooting TurboTax Desktop for Mac issues Try doing a manual update.
