From 3520 Gifts/Inheritance 2 questions

Received foreign inheritance in 2020, parent passed away, fmv obtained from certified appraisal ect at the date of death. I have 2 questions:

1. Can 3520 from be filed/send via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or in needs to be mailed with certified USPS?

2. In completing part 4, listing the assets, descriptions, fair values - do I need to attach any supporting documents? or just listing them suffice?

Thank you

Form 3520 should be sent in a way that tracks the package. Priority Mail with a Certificate of Mailing includes tracking and shows that the item was mailed. See this link for information about using the USPS for tax items. USPS and Tax Forms

After completing Part 4 of Form 3520, do NOT attach any supporting documents. Keep your records for seven years in case there would be any questions.
