I downloaded Turbotax 2024 Deluxe to do my own taxes. I did not get an invoice and could not get a license code. Finally I wound up with "tax experts" under a "just answers" option. I learnt of a charge of $5 for this service, but the agents did not help. They billed me $57 for no service at all, and the credit card company flagged the charge as fraudulent, suspending my credit card account and causing me tremendous inconvenience. I expect to dispute the $57 charge but can offer you the option to send me a free Turbotax Deluxe program. Tomorrow is the last filing date, and you, and no-one else, is responsible for my delay. It is mysterious how hard it is to get to you via e-mail. AK
Not quite sure what all you did. That "just answers" is not part of TurboTax, so sorry, nothing TT can do for you about that. You may be able to dispute it with your credit card company, but TT is not responsible for random websites you visit.
As for the desktop download----you say you ordered it----did you pay TurboTax for the download or did you purchase the download from a retailer?

If you expect to get a refund, there is no penalty and you can file after the filing deadline tomorrow. with no worries. Or if you need an extension you can request an extension. An extension gives you more time to prepare the Form 1040 but not extra time to pay tax due---so if you expect to owe you should pay the estimated tax due with your extension.
