Form 8936 is delayed year after year while IRS has already made the form and instructions public for several weeks.

Why do I have to wait until the 21st. Also, state of Maine forms were sup[posed to be available today, but they are not.

Yes, sometimes the paper version of a form is available and it isn't available in TurboTax yet. 

 

TurboTax has to get approval from the IRS or state agency that the software meets their requirements for e-file before it is available in the TurboTax program.
