I am using TurboTax Premier downloaded. Problem is even worse than you describe. Even if line 4b is entered as 50% [ or any amount ] the calculation in line 4c ignores it. If you try to override line 4c with the correct amount of $3,750 the program generates an error that says "should not be overridden and changed for Electronic Filing..."
