Form 8615

Help.  I've been raising my cousin the last few years.  This last year 2024 was her first year in college.  I'm claiming her as a dependent on my taxes.  She has unearned income and it the form is requiring her parent's info.  We have no idea where her parents are.  She was abandoned.  For this reason, she has been eligible for a grant at school and a scholarship.  How do we move past or answer the parent info on form 8615?

If the earned income is less than or equal to $2,600 then you don't need to file the Form 8615 so you wouldn't need to enter the parent's information. Otherwise, the IRS requires you to attempt to obtain the necessary information from the parents by requesting it from the IRS as per this excerpt from the instructions to Form 8615:
