Form 8582 modify in Turbo Tax Home and Business 2023 to PAL

I am using turbo tax desktop 2023 H&B.   My primary residence used to be a rental property for me.  I want to carry forward the passive loss.  I open Form 8582 but I cant enter the information.  So how do I enter the information in the form?  Thank you.

You can try entering a passive loss carryover in the Rentals section of the program.

 

A rental property will have to be created but I believe you can then delete the actual Schedule E in Forms Mode (but don't delete the Schedule E Worksheet, which the IRS will not receive anyway).
