Form 8275 with federal only?

Hi guys,

I am submitting a form 8275 but was wondering if I could electronically file my state tax returns (Arizona and California) through turbo tax and for my federal return submit that through mail with the 8275 form?

Or does the state returns need to be mailed (and not electronically sent) with a 8275 form as well?

If you're asking if you could mail in your federal return with Form 8275, Disclosure Statement and e-file your AZ and CA income tax returns, no, you can't e-file state returns if you don't e-file the federal return.

For the 8275 form, do I mail a copy only with the federal return or do I need to mail a copy to the state returns as well (Az and CA)?
