form 1310

I am the court appointed representative for my dad's estate.  I checked B in part I on 1310.  Turbotax will not let me efile unless I check box C.  I want to efile and submit a paper court certificate showing my appointment as administrator.  Why can't I efile?

TurboTax won't let you e-file because, having checked Box B, you need to send the court order/certificate showing your appointment; TurboTax won't let you attach that certificate.

You're better off simply printing and mailing your return complete with the 1310 and certificate.

You will need to send in a certificate showing your appointment.  Send a copy - not an original.  You can send the 1310 in separately and be able to efile the return once it is processed but that would take the same length of time as just mailing in the return with the certificate so you may as well do that.
