Form 1310 -

Form 1310 - What is the current status of Federal Form 1310 ? Last week TT told me "DO NOT USE" waiting for revised form. I was supposed to be notified when updated form is incorporated but have heard nothing. Is it currently available to use with TT and file my federal taxes?

TurboTax Forms Availability for 1310 shows available March 4, 2020.  Please try to use this form again.  Here is the link to continue to check for the form.

TurboTax Forms Availability

Keep in mind:

  • When you locate your form, there will be dates for both Print and (in most cases) E-file availability. If the E-file form is listed as unsupported, the form must be printed and you'll need to mail your return.
  • Forms missing from the table aren't supported in TurboTax.

TurboTax will automatically fill out IRS Form 1310 when you file a return on behalf of a deceased person (also called a decedent return).

For a death that occurred during tax year 2020, make sure you indicate that the person died during 2020 or before he/she filed their 2020 return. That way, TurboTax will generate Form 1310 for you.
