Form 1040 info for 2023 to form form 1040SR 2023

I did my 2022 Taxes with Turbo-tax Deluxe CD. I liked the larger type and spacing, but I was not given an option to use 1040SR when I began my 2023 taxes using Turbo-tax Deluxe CD and now it is hard to view 2022 and 2023 side by side and have the lines match-up. Why didn't my 2023 go automatically (I am way over 65) to 1040SR and is there a way to move the 1040 info I have entered into a form 1040SR now that I have started?

The form 1040 and form 1040SR are identical except the 1040SR has larger type and is designed for seniors to be able to fill out by hand.  The form on the computer will be a 1040 when you fill it out but if you print the return the form for print will automatically be a 1040SR if you are over 65.  If you are on the online service you can print the return after you have paid and before you file.  If you are on the desktop service you can print the return at any point in the process.

As Robert said it will show you the 1040 on screen but will print out the 1040SR.  That's strange, most people want to switch from the 1040SR and get the 1040.  But also double check here,

If you use the Desktop program you can switch to forms and the Info Wks part II has a selection to select 1040SR or not.

Another thing to check with Desktop.....

Switch to Forms Mode

Open and look at Part II, of the "InfoWks".

Just below the telephone number entry area is a Yes or No to print the 1040 vs 1040SR

(Me? I always turn off the 1040SR so I get it all on 2 pages instead of slopping over to 3)
