For the past two years, I have tried to file my taxes with TurboTax and I get all the way to the end and I get an error saying "your transmission didn't go through." Help

I get a message that says: "We could not e-file your return for the following reason:
A server problem occurred while processing the refund transfer. Please try to e-file again and if that fails contact customer service." What am I doing wrong? I am now two years behind on my taxes and I don't know how to fix this.

Th only way to fix the problem of filing the past year returns is to print them and file them by mail.  It is too late to e-file any return other than a 2023 return.    If you still have not filed 2021 or 2022, the only way to file them is to print them, sign and date them in ink, and mail them in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

As for e-filing 2023, contact customer support for some help.  If you are still unable to e-file 2023, then that one will need to be filed by mail too.

Do not try to use the same envelopes for any of those returns---mail each one in its own envelope.
