You need an EIN to file a Form 1120, or at least have applied for one.

Thankyou for your reply.

I do have an EIN, I am just asking if TurboTax Business Software will ask for SSN or ITIN or it will just ask for EIN?

As when I was making a profile on TurboTax it was asking for SSN...

@ameerhamzak You need to use TurboTax Business for this filing and it will ask for an EIN.

Hi,

When I am trying to buy TurboTax Business it is asking for a billing address within US or Canada. I am a non-resident C Corp owner, so I do not have a billing address in US or Canada. The business has registered office outside of US and Canada.

What is the solution in this case ?

If possible, you can use the address of a friend or relative, but you must have a U.S. address.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion, I have purchased the license. Now I am filling 1120 and it is asking for number of forms 5472 being attached. I have mentioned 1 being the sole non-resident foreign owner of the C Corp.

Now the interface does not offer me a way to attach the Form 5472 but it is saying that it can proceed to efile the Form 1120. If I efile the form 1120 then how does my Form 5472 go in with it ?

Do I have to fax or mail form 5472 separately? As much I understand, the form 5472 has to go along with 1120 and cannot be filed independently. How do I do this through the interface?

You are probably better off printing and mailing the entire return.
