Help, since 2024 Turbo Tax updated itself on 1/25/2025 it is having filename problems. When open my file, make updates, and save it, the filename and extension changes. When that happens 2024 Turbo Tax cannot open the file again because it is missing extension .tax2024 . I figured it was changing the full filename like "2024 xxxx 1040.tax2024" to "random letter/numbers.taxbak" for example 6bc9f4f8-280c-4a7a-a908-623c3519f634.taxbak . I figured how to open my tax file, I had to manually rename the file from "random letter/numbers.taxbak" back to "2024 xxxx 1040.tax2024" then 2024 Turbo Tax will recognize and open the file. I work on it, save it, and fustratingly it keeps changing it back to the "random letter/numbers.taxbak"!! Please help!
