Filed tax returns as resident with 1099-int but now bank has sent 1042 S

Hi Expert,

I have been filing as resident for many years and bank has always sent 1099-int and this time also bank sent me 1099-int so I filed the return.

Today, the bank has sent 2 1042-S for my 2 CDs, what do I?

Do I need to amend my return using TurboTax software and re-file?

Please help.

If the IRS form 1042-S reports income that you did not report on your original tax return, you may need to amend your tax return.

If your return has been transmitted and rejected by the IRS, you can correct your tax return and re-transmit.

If your return has been transmitted and accepted by the IRS, you may amend your Federal 1040 tax return.

If you used TurboTax Online, log in to your account and select Amend a return that was filed and accepted.

If you used the CD/download product, sign back into your return and select Amend a filed return
