You each have your own AGI from last year.  Enter them separately on the Joint return.  There will be a spot for each of you.

How to find the AGI https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301618

Where?  On a Joint return there is only 1 AGI on line 37.  At the end when you efile it will ask for each of you AGI from 2016.

Are you sure your return is a Joint return?

It doesn't matter how your 2016 returns were prepared, or who prepared them. You just need the AGI from each return, no matter how it was prepared.

Do not add your 2016 AGIs together. You enter them separately, on two separate screens. At the top of each screen it tells you whose 2016 AGI it is asking for. After you enter the first one, click Continue and enter the other person's AGI on the next screen. See the attached screen shots.
