Filed electronically and was rejected, now mailing forms. Do I include the electronic postmarked turbo form with the mailed information?

No.  It's not necessary to include the electronic postmark.  Had you attempted to e-file on the day of the deadline, got rejected, and were mailing your return after the deadline, you would want to include it in order to avoid any late filing penalty, if applicable.

I tried to e-file three times and got rejected.

I finally gave in and printed the forms to mail several days after my first attempt which was on the deadline date.  The e-file certification shows the date and time of the last attempt, which is several days later than my first attempt, and after the deadline.

How do I get a certification for my first attempt to efile which was on the deadline date?

The Electronic Postmark Report included in the PDF of the tax return will only show the the last date/time the return was transmitted.

You should also have the rejection email from TurboTax for the first time the tax return was rejected.  You can attach that email to the mailed tax return.

If your tax return has a tax refund or there are no taxes owed, there are no penalties for filing after the due date of the tax return.
