You are Each individually responsible for paying $250 per year on the FTHB until the loan is paid off.

Are you referring to the First Time Homebuyer Credit? You remain individually responsible for your half if owned jointly. What is the status of the home? Either of you still live there? If sold, when?

Hi. Thank you for answering. Yes I was referring to the First Time Homebuyer Credit.  I live in the home, it is jointly owned and we split the bills. I thought if he filed first and paid that particular loan for 2018,it was taken care of until next year when it was my turn. Are we both responsible for the yearly payment?
