Extension Prevents E-Filing State Tax Later?

In Wisconsin, filing the IRS Form 4868 gives you an automatic extension for state filing, too. BUT you have to attach a copy of the 4868. I can see the completed 4868 in TurboTax, but it's not in the list of forms that will be sent to the IRS and Wisconsin when I'm ready to file. Will this be corrected when I'm ready to file electronically, or will I now have to file a paper return with a copy of the 4868 for Wisconsin?

Wisconsin (WI) automatically grants a filing (not payment) extension to October 15 if you filed a federal extension. If you didn't, print IRS Form 4868 and only fill out the name, address, and signature fields. Then, when you file your Wisconsin return, attach the 4868 to your return. If you owe, submit payment by May 17 to avoid penalties and interest, either by including a check with your mailed Form 1-ES or by paying online at their DOR Electronic Filing page.
