Everytime i enter the numbers for box d the turbo tax app keeps telling me it must match the numbers in box d of my w2 form wich it does match so why doesnt it accept it?

Box d is used by certain payroll services but is not mandatory. It does not affect your taxes in any way.   If your W-2 has no box d or TurboTax shows an error, just leave it blank in TurboTax.
