Estate Schedule K-1 with no distribution

My mother died in 2018 and in her will, left me, among others, a specific monetary bequest, the residual going to a scholarship fund. I received the exact amount specified in 2019 and signed a release indicating that I had no further claims on the estate. I filed my 2018 taxes in Feb 2019, and am now learning that the estate may be issuing a K-1 Tax Form to me.  I assume this will show no additional income for me as I have received only what was bequested and I do not expect to ever receive any additional money from the estate.

If the K-1 shows no distribution to me, will I have to amend my taxes to account for the estate report to the IRS despite it showing no distribution?

That K-1 is not about 'distribution' but the distribution of income that the estate may have enjoyed post the date of your mother's passing.

So it if shows income, then it would need to be added to your return as an amendment.

The assets passed tax free to you, but any income generated is taxed
