Error in the TT Premier download package. Why does Form 1099-DIV, Line 13, does allow entry of private activity bond interest?

Line 13 of 1099-DIV requires entry of the private activity bond component of Line 12, which is often less than Line 12.  Instead TT copies Line 12 into Line 13 and does not allow entries in line 13.

Get the paper copy of your 1099-DIV form,

Delete the one you imported.

Then enter all the 1099-DIV data manually...that should fix it.

 

No way to know what is blocking your fixing the values on the imported documents.

Don't take a picture.

Don't upload a PDF.

Just enter all the data manually.

.i.e <Change how I enter my form>  and <Type it in myself>
