Entering 1099-DIV Received From Nominee Recipient

I received a 1099-DIV from a Nominee Recipient who is an individual (deceased).  As a result, the payer does not have an EIN but instead used their SS# as a TIN on the 1099-DIV.  Turbotax keep requesting a EIN in order to electronically file my taxes but this is not possible.  I attempted a dummy EIN such as 99-9999999 or 00-0000000 to no avail.  Hopefully, I will not have to file my return in paper.  Any thoughts on how to get Turbotax to accept a 1099-DIV from an individual nominee without an EIN?  Thank you in advance.

Actually you don't even need to enter the EIN or address.  Only the name and amount.  Delete that 1099 and try entering it again.    Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program?  My Desktop program won't let me enter the EIN, etc.

Using the Desktop version in windows.  Turbotax prompts me to enter a EIN and I have attempted to move forward with an EIN but continue to get an error requesting an EIN.  Not sure what to do?
