"Enter account information again" for direct deposit

While trying to e-file, prompted to "enter account information again" for direct deposit of refund but system not accepting the account number.  I logged out and opened the return again but eventually landed on the same screen.   Want to either change direct deposit account information or just opt out of direct deposit but can't figure out how to do either. I'm not able to file at all. Stuck.  Help!

Try changing the account in Info Wks (Information Worksheet)

View, Forms, choose Info Wks and change the banking info there.

Not sure if I had the same problem, but I entered the wrong routing number and e-filed.  It was rejected for the bad routing number.

Went back to that screen and field.  When I tried to simply replace the wrong number with the right one use copy/paste, it complained about too many characters.

I deleted the existing routing number and was able to paste in the correct one.

Try deleting the existing account number and entering the replacement one.

Thank you for the quick response!  Unfortunately, I think I'm in a different screen.  I forgot to mention it in my first post but the screen says "for the account ending in #--, enter your routing number and account number a second time."  So it seems like I'm one step further into the process

Wow!! That worked.  Thank you so much.  I must have entered in the initial Account number incorrectly or added again without deleting.  But I could easily change that on the Information Sheet in Forms.  Amazing!
