Employers state id number that I have listed on my w-2 has a dash (-) in it and that filed won't let me enter a dash?

employers state id number that I have listed on my w-2 has a dash (-) in it and that filed won't let me enter a dash? 0501141-7  Should I just leave the dash out?

Yes. The dash isn't important, as long as you have all the numbers entered in.
