Emailed incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov 3 (3 weeks) times and have not heard back. Was told to email and ask what to send to confirm name change.

Per GA, allow 90 business days (18 calendar weeks) to process.

That's not answering my question. I filed my tax return in February. I spoke to someone on the phone and was told to email  <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="mailto:incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov">incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov</a>  to ask what forms of documents to send them to get my name changed in their system... Until they get my name changed I am unable to get my refund. My question is how long does it take for someone to respond to an email  at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="mailto:incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov">incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov</a>? I have emailed them once a week for 3 weeks.

We have no way of knowing. Call GA by phone and ask.

I did that. I've called them twice. I sit on hold around an hour just to get someone with a whole lot of attitude no answers and telling me to email  <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="mailto:incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov">incometax.processing@dor.ga.gov</a>. If there is  no way of knowing why didn't you just say that? I'll have to call again.

We are mostly other users here, not TT employees. TT has no ability to contact GA on your behalf. It is a computer program, not a CPA firm.
