EIN format is xx-xxxxxxx. Federal ID is xxx-xx-xxxx. IRS is rejecting my submission because TurboxTax does not allow me to enter the Federal ID format. Help.

TurboTax automatically add hyphen for an entry that can either be EIN or Federal ID. It hyphens correctly for EIN but not for Federal ID (two hyphens at different locations). How can I enter correct Federal ID format?
