I am preparing two tax returns One for my sister in law who lives in a different state. I purchased a second state from turbo tax. Will there be any additional charge to email both state and federal retruns.

You mean to efile them? You get 5 federal efiles for free. Each state is $20 to efile (including the first one). It will go up to $25 on March 1. Or you can print and mail state for free.
