E-filing on TurboTax when I owe tax to IRS.

Hello,

All of my past e-filings were for refunds, but  I owe some amount to IRS this year and wonder how to pay through e-filing.

Initially, I thought I should pay through the IRS's DirectPay, separately from e-filing, but reading some posts and watching the Intuit videos, it seems that I can pay through e-filing.

Does  efiling on TurboTax prompt me to type the bank account# during the efiling process ?

I also saw some posts referring to payments with credit cards. Is it an option on Efiling too ?

Sorry for very basic questions, but I want to know what to expect and what my options are before going into the process.

Thank you,

To pay, you can send a check or setup an ACH debit from a checking or savings account on or before 4/18.

As you complete the FILE tab ... in step 2 the options on how you want to pay the balance due will presented ... be aware if you use any kind of debit/credit card there is a processing fee added ... paying by direct debit from your checking account is free.
