e-filing 1099-NEC to IRS and my Home State?

I used the e-filing service to file 1099-NEC, it only says "IRS accepted the filing".  Has the e-filing also sent the 1099-NEC to my state, since Copy 1 is for "State Tax Department"?  If Not, where should I mail the Copy 1 to my home state?  Thanks!

If you filed the 1099-NEC forms (that you created for other people that you paid) through the TurboTax software then that information is only sent to the IRS.

The Copy 1 that you mentioned is for people that you give the 1099-NEC form to to attach to their state tax returns when they file.

Each state has different rules for reporting payroll and contractor payments.  You need to check what the rules are for your state in order to see if you need to provide copies of your 1099-NECs to your state.
