E-file rejected, need to mail. Do I send a check witth tax liability?

My AGI wasn't accepted by the IRS and my TurboTax e-file was rejected multiple times. I had my taxes done by a CPA last year and have the AGI from their filings on paper. When I mail in my tax form, do I include a check for the taxes owed on my TurboTax dashboard?

as a possibility before you decide to mail in your return, try using 0 for the AGI. sometimes that works. sometimes not. if you can't e-file

follow TT filing instructions. The amount will be specified. you can mail a check with the return or use the IRS website to pay. https://www.irs.gov/payments

if you have a state return follow TT filing instructions for the state. Most states allow payment through its website.

best would be to use a filing method where you get proof of delivery.

by the way, the balance due was supposed to be paid by 7/15/2020 so you might get a notice from the IRS for late payment penalties and interest.

If you need to mail then in the FILE tab switch to a mailed in return then the proper forms and filing instructions will be presented in the PDF.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment.  For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.
