Downloaded Turbo delux disc and continually asked for money to get it. Now they are asking for $115+. What is my problem? It is the simplest of filings...

Downloaded from disc with license code and computer still askes for $$$.  Have put in all interests and dividends, SSA and military retirement.  Very simple but you want money?  Worse software ever.  Have been using Turbo for ages.

After installing your software from the CD, did you use Online TurboTax (web browser version) by mistake?  (yes, it sometimes happens)

If so, we can tell you how to download the *.tax2023 data file from Online TurboTax, so you can finish it and file in your desktop software.

 

If that's not it, then please explain more about what and where you are seeing this.

We see people get confused and they keep logging in to online software which will require them to pay at the end.   You need to use the desktop software.   One way to tell if you are using the right software---your tool bar.   Online software has the toolbar in a black vertical column on the left side of the screen.   Desktop software has the tools up on the top of your TT screen.
